Ella (Yuanyuan) is an international student from China. At UConn for three years now, Ella has immersed herself in understanding different cultures and has integrated that knowledge into her writing. As a journalism major, she is motivated to step out of her comfort zone and write stories regarding campus life, town meetings, and even criminal cases, which never fails to remind her how fascinating writing is. Ella is passionate about photography and video production, and she participated in the production of two short films and a documentary. She is a good person to contact if you have some great ideas for scripts.
