Sarah is in her third year of the MA/PhD program in the English department. She specializes in Irish literature and women and gender studies, and aspires to read Irish language texts too. As an undergraduate she worked as a writing mentor at her college’s speaking, arguing, and writing center, and she teaches First-Year Writing courses on themes such as “The Rhetoric of Rebellion” and “Nationalism and Rebellion in Irish Film and Literature.” She likes to spend her time running while listening to YA fantasy audiobooks and cuddling with her cat, Phryne.
