Graduate Orientation

Welcome! All graduate students who are interested in one-on-one tutorials must first meet with the Coordinator for Graduate Writing Support for an Orientation meeting. These meetings last about 30 minutes and are conducted virtually through Webex. To begin this process fill out the Graduate Orientation Form below. You may also reach out the Graduate Coordinator directly to set up your appointment.

Purpose of the Orientation meeting: Graduate writing projects are longer and more complex, and the Writing Center wants to make sure that that our support is tailored to these challenges. This meeting is meant to explain how the Writing Center can help graduate students through tutoring, written feedback, and a host of other supplemental activities.

Already had your Orientation meeting? Please check out the rest of the Graduate Writing section by using the side menu on the left. This includes links to an overview of the support we provide, bios of our Grad tutors, information and forms for signing up for our workshops and retreats, ways to connect with writing groups, and much more!
